    Default canon powershot A430

    I hit reformat memory card instead of erase all, and the still outdoor shots are flushed white. Indoor flash and video still work fine. Is there a solution.

    Reformatting the memory card erases all the data on it, but it should not affect your camera's ability to take outdoor pictures. Just to make sure the problem is not the memory card, try a new card and see what happens.
