Default Old SLR lenses compatible with new DSLR?

I have two old Canon lenses (that's what they're called, right?), one is 28-80, one is 75-300 f/4-5.6 III USM (just typing what the boxes say). They were used on Canon Rebel 2000, but I was hoping to switch to a DSLR. Will they be compatible with any new Canon DSLR?

Yes, the key is that these are the "EF" type, which means they have auto focus. It is the very old manual focus Canon lenses that cannot be used with a current Canon DSLR.

Will they be compatible with Canon MILC as well?

I assume you mean the EOS M. All Ef and EF-S lenses will work but you'll need the Canon adapter for the EOS M camera.

    This one?
Amazon.com: Canon EOS M Mount Adapter: CANON: Camera & Photo

With this I can use my lenses on the EOS M, but for other EOS cameras I do not need the adapter?

Correct. Your EF and EF-S lenses are compatible with the other EOS cameras without the need to use an adapter.
