    Default Transfer image to pc

I recently bought a canon power shot A4000 IS 1-D camera on eBay. It did not come with directions. Can anyone tell me how to transfer images to my computer.

You need either a USB cable that fits the camera (I think it might be a mini - the larger connector) or an SD card reader.
    My Gear:
    Panasonic FZ28
    Canon Elph 110 HS
    Canon A720IS (retired)

    Two methods:

    1) use mini USB to USB (included?) cable to transfer footage. Alternately -- Most cameras come with a CD included with Canon software that you may chose to open your photos.

    2) remove card from camera and insert in card slot on PC; connect to as external card reader as mentioned above.

In addition to the above methods, some PC laptops come with internal SD card slots, so if you have one you won't have to purchase one. Also the mini USB to USB should come with the camera along with a disc with Canons photo software. You can use that or your computer's picture editing software, or many other commercially available brands.
