I had a chance to use that waterproof camera from Pentax, it's actually really sharp and much smaller than some of the other competing models. You can't go diving with it, but snorkling is permitted.

Definitely something I could take fly fishing. I usually buy waterproof disposables to take on fishing trips. Having something waterproof is not only handy when you drop the camera in the water, but people have a tendency to take dunks every once in a while, and I'm notorious for fishing in some crappy weather. So, while it wouldn't get submerged, being able to handle moisture is key.
The next thing would be to ruggedize it so I don't have to worry about dropping something that is more expensive than a disposable.
