Ricoh has released a firmware update for its slim, long zoom camera, the CX1.

The firmware, version 1.24, addresses two issues:

  • Problems printing out photos when the CX1 is connected to some PictBridge compatible printers (which permit printing photos directly from the camera)
  • When using long exposures, the orientation of the image (horizontal or vertical), may not be recorded correctly
