Ultrazooms abound
Fujifilm unleashed several new compact cameras a few weeks ago. The 30x ultrazoom FinePix HS10 grabbed headlines promising continuous shooting rates of 10 fps. Olympus countered with their own 30x ultrazoom the same day. The SP800UZ sports a 14 megapixel CCD sensor and 720p HD video. We'll be very interested in getting a hands-on with both of the zoom giants and taking a comparative look at how they feel.Get tough

I can't wait to see this. On paper I prefer the Fujifilm because of the AA batteries, which shoots longer with alkalines than the lithium battery in the Olympus. Throw some nimh batteries in the Fujifilm and it'd likely do much MUCH better. It also has 1080p video.
One thing that's kind of nice about the Olympus is the large amount of built-in memory.Eugene Leafty
Fujifilm S9000, Hoya 58mm uv/circular polarizer/warming filters, 8GB CF, 256 MB CF, topload bag, Dynatran AT-858B tripod base, Dynatran ATH-A04 tripod head, 2 sets NiMH batts w/2 chargers
Coming soon: 58mm close up lens set
