Fujifilm FinePix JZ500 First Look Discussion
The demand for smaller cameras with longer zooms continues, and the FinePix JZ500 is Fujifilm's 10x zoom answer to that demand. Sensor resolution has also been inflated, clocking in at 14 megapixels. Will that drag down low-light performance? We'll tackle that in our forthcoming full review. For now, here's our first look at some sample images from the JZ500.

Compared to my old F45fd, those samples look low on contrast. Which sometimes helps out DR, but not always. Nice to see that the shooting modes include the Natural+Flash mode and 2 scene modes. Just like my F45fd.
