    Default Sony at Photokina: NEX firmware on the way, advanced DSLR details Discussion

    Sony Europe announced at a press conference this afternoon at Photokina that a forthcoming NEX firmware upgrade will provide AF capability with alpha lenses. Sony also released more details about the advanced DSLR teased earlier this year.

    I've been very happy with my Sony A200. But looking around for a more advanced camera as an upgrade, the A560 and A55 are not exciting. Their control customization does not measure up the the EOS 60D, let alone the D90. So a more advanced Sony Alpha model is badly needed, in my view.

    As for all the new E-mount lenses, I hope this means a NEX with EVF is on its way ? ? ?
