Nikon Coolpix S2 Picture Gallery (and Comparison with Coolpix S1)

We attended a media event recently where we had a chance to see the Nikon Coolpix S2 in person, leave our fingerprints on it, and compare it side by side with the Nikon Coolpix S1.  Although we don't really have much to say, we thought you might just like to look at the pictures instead of having to read DCR for the articles.

The Nikon Coolpix S2 is a 5.1 megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom, 2.5 inch LCD that comes in an ultra-compact splashproof body.  Now, without further ado, here are the pictures.

Not that it matters a great deal, but I do have to say the LCD is totally un-impressive. It was very weak compared to the Sony T33 I used to take the pictures and even worse compared to the very bright LCDs used in the new Samsung models.
