Fujifilm FinePix HS20EXR, F500EXR and F550EXR introduce new EXR sensor Discussion

Fujifilm announces the first half of its 2011 cameras today, ringing in the new year with a new 16 megapixel EXR CMOS back illuminated sensor. Three new FinePix cameras will bring the sensor to market with the 30x optical zoom FinePix HS20 at the head of the class.

Do both of these have hybrid autofocus like the F300EXR? I'm a bit disappointed that the HS20 doesn't have gps. I guess that sort of makes sense since it's less likely to be a travel camera, and bringing a handheld gps wouldn't be such a big deal when already carrying such a large camera.

Another site says it has contrast autofocus, so I guess that left out phase detection autofocus on this one. It still looks like a nice camera, and I'm really glad they stuck with AA batteries, but I do wish they added hybrid autofocus.

I'm glad Fuji has incorporated the EXR sensor into the new HS20. It will be interesting to see if Fuji has made any improvements to the low light image quality of their EXR sensor.
