    Panasonic updates its rugged Lumix TS series today with the TS3. As usual it's waterproof, shockproof, dustproof, freezeproof, and now it has built-in GPS. Like other Lumix cameras launched today, it offers a new 3D mode.

    The gps feature will be nice if only to locate where pictures were taken when the pictures are viewed at home, that is, if it gets a gps lock quickly. It will be much more useful if it displays the current gps coordinates, preferably in a couple different formats--I prefer UTM.

    How much will the GPS eat up the battery?

    I'd love to have my photos all GPS tagged, but I typically find myself away from any power sources for 5-10 days at a time.

    Any idea how many photos per charge the camera will achieve - both with and without GPS?
