Default Canon EOS 60D Review Discussion

Announced in late August 2010 as the replacement for the 50D and "designed primarily for advanced amateurs," the Canon EOS 60D DSLR offers a modest resolution increase to 18 megapixels over the old camera's 15.1 as well as a 1080 HD video capability where none existed before.

How does the top deck LCD compare to the D90 and D7000?

The Nikons are rectangular and the Canon is a trapezoid; the Nikons look to be a bit wider, length is about the same and both brands are pretty much equally readable in outdoor light.

Thanks. With my econo entry level DSLR one of the features at the top of my wish list for "next camera" is that top deck LCD. I haven't had a chance to play with those, so I'm clueless on whether there are significant differences.

Thank you very much for through review! I have been waiting for the review.

I seems that I will happily stick with my 50D as i don't care video or swivel viewfinder and actually i like magnesium body (albeit heavy).
