Re: Canon Adds Four New Advanced PowerShots Discussion
If they produce a SX140 variant of the SX230, then I think it'll be about time I get off the fence and finally get a new camera.

Re: Canon Adds Four New Advanced PowerShots Discussion
Very nice. I'm glad to see Canon incorporating its excellent CMOS sensor in more cameras. I thought the image quality in the SD4500 IS, with its CMOS sensor, was superb, though its battery life was subpar. Hopefully the new cameras will have similarly excellent image quality with good battery life as well.

Re: Canon Adds Four New Advanced PowerShots Discussion
Is there any Canon Elph (Ixus here) that allows manual settings?
For the price you pay, this is what you should get at least.
PS: My first Digicam bought in 2001 was a Powershot A10 with only 1.3 mega pixels but with manual settings....

Re: Canon Adds Four New Advanced PowerShots Discussion
Thank you for this, it is a very nice camera however quite expensive...also will it be fully manual (I am thinking of the Sony H5xV that has limited manual functions)...and why does Canon keeps to these different model names for US/Europe (Elph/Ixus)? This is really confusing...
