To be the pics seem to lack contrast, resolution and sharpness. I have seen some videos posted on youtube with the P500 that looked fairly good but not up to snuff of other cameras. At this time, I cannot vouch for the quality of the recorded sound or the stereo imaging.

Kelsci, I'm seeing it too. A friend of mine just bought a Nikon L110 and it has the same issues. Maybe image quality will look better in the full review of the P500.
