    If the 10-100 zoom works out well, this could be a killer video grabber. Otherwise, I don't get it.

    It's apparently for folks who don't like changing lenses. With the 2.7 crop factor, it should be appropriate for lots of shooting situations.

    Olympus has a 14-150 mZuiko zoom for their PEN cameras - that translates into a 28 to 300 range with crop factor.

    The 10-100 on the new Nikon goes from 27 to 270......

    It's the mirrorless equivalent of the 18-200 for DSLRs.

    Understood. Which is why I see zooms like this as a natural choice for video. But that still leaves open how well AF tracking works during video, etc.

    I brought up the video mission because this is one point where the small sensor could be an advantage, instead of a liability. Sorry I didn't say that more clearly.
