That is sooooo cool. Lust, pant, pant. Maybe in 10 years I will be able to afford a used one.

Going by the dimensions that looks hooooooge. Possibly even bigger than an M (which of course packs a full-frame sensor)? I might have been somewhat interested if it was X100 size since I liked a lot about how it shot, but... no.

Good catch, width is almost a big as my 50D! But half the weight at least.

Re: Fujifilm X-Pro1: Interchangeable Lenses, APS-C Sensor Discussion
I'm sure it'll attract a lot of hipsters who want to shoot with a Leica M but can't afford it - the X-Pro might still be within range of their credit cards. Will probably work out well for Fuji.
For me, as I found out if I'm going to shoot with something as big as the M's (let alone anything bigger) I'm better off with a full-blown DSLR for either the lack of the rangefinder framing oddities or the lens/accessory versatility, since the size is not what I can call 'everyday usable' anymore. Even the X100 was borderline, which is why I canned it in the end. It's a big reason why I'm pretty happy with my current Leica... though something smaller would always be good.Last edited by Vogelbung; 01-09-2012 at 03:55 PM.

True. It would also be easy to make a strong technical argument for the new Sony NEX-7 over the X-Pro1. But I do have this irrational "thing" for brightframe optical viewfinders.

Pricewise, it makes the Canon G1X look like the deal of the century. But the Fuji sure looks a whole lot nicer than the G1X.
