Hard to believe that CES, that behemoth of a tradeshow is over. We're bidding the Las Vegas Convention Center a fond farewell by counting down the top five trends and announcements we saw at the show.

I'm sure it'll sell like hot cakes, and the initial images look impressive - though I'd like to see real-life pictures, but the X-Pro 1 doesn't hold that much interest for me.
What I'm clamouring for is the G1X. It could just be the compact camera I've been wanting. It's maybe not enough to get rid of the Leica X1 altogether, but possibly more useful so as to displace it as my 'bagged daily'. I'll have to see how it handles in actual use but I could see it negating the need for a 'compact compact' altogether. I've secured the return of the Fuji X10 and have preordered (and decided not to get the S100), so I'm definitely in. A faster lens would have been a bonus, but... well, you can't have everything.Last edited by Vogelbung; 01-17-2012 at 07:00 PM.
