Re: Olympus Revives OM with E-M5 Discussion
I have very fond memories of my 35mm OM cameras (we had a husband and wife pair). Really luv the chrome finish on this lens and top deck. Solid black cameras get sooo boring after a while.
But I am a picky cuss:
The contours of the front grip don't seem quite right.
I wish they had left out the accessory port above the EVF, so that housing could have a lower profile. Maybe a later "economy" model in this line will give me that?
The blank command dials on top are a wasted opportunity. They should have markings for whatever their default functions are. Blank controls on a "classic" design just look out of place.
But my most earnest nit-pick is the big 3" OLED. Really looks out of place for this svelte design. Let small cameras have small LCDs, please!
