Minox has announced a compact camera, the DC 6211.  The 6.2 megapixel ultra-compact has a 3x optical zoom and a beefy 2.5 inch LCD.  The camera has an SD slot to record pictures and movies.  Movies can be captured at 30 frames per second for up to 30 seconds.  No details on availability and price yet, so we'll keep you posted.

With dimensions of 88.8 x 54.5 x 24 mm and a weight of 130 grams (without battery and memory card), it's a very pocketable camera.

The camera will ship with a power supply unit, USB and video cable, lithium ion battery, wrist strap, case, and software.
