Default Best of Show: Top 5 Digital Cameras from CES 2013 Discussion

Over the last 3 days I have walked many miles, visited almost a dozen camera companies and checked out countless cameras just to bring you information on the newest camera announced this year. After milling through the specs and getting my hands of wide range of cameras, I'm going to narrow down the field to the top 5 digital cameras of CES 2013.

Quite a varied selection of cameras. My favorites are the Nikon D5200 and the Olympus TG-2. The Nikon because it fits nicely into a popular price/performance niche and the TG-2 because it's so darn cool looking.

Andy, I agree. I think the most popular camera from this list will turn out being the Nikon D5200. It has widespread appeal and fits nicely into the Nikon DSLR lineup. The Canon PowerShot N will be a fun camera for the 15-25 crowd. It has a lot of creative features and is easy to carry. The Fuji X100S will be an enthusiasts dream. It promises images that rival DSLR cameras. The Samsung NX300 has the 3D lens that has some serious "cool" appeal. Finally, the Olympus is going to turn out to be an all-around great camera. With the addition of optional lenses that are very reasonably prices, I think it has major benefits over any other tough camera. I am seriously considering buying this camera for my husband. It has the durability he needs and the "expandability" I desire. I can't wait to take it to the beach...finally a camera I don't have to worry about!
