Olympus SP-320 Digital Camera Announced
The Olympus SP-320 is the latest camera in Olympus' higher-end "SP" point and shoot line. The 7.1 megapixel camera has several manual modes to provide varying degrees of manual control for the photographer who wants to start experimenting around with settings. The camera, with a 3x optical lens and 2.5 inch LCD, also have several accessories to provide even more options to the user. The SP-320 will be available in March 2006 at an estimated street price of $299.99.
The SP-320 features a full Manual mode, Aperture Priority mode, and Shutter Priority mode to allow to take as much control as you want over your pictures. There are also 31 pre-programmed scene modes if you want the camera to take the reins. A digital image stabilization system can boost ISO to increase shutter speeds and decrease blur.
The SP-320 has a threaded barrel that allows you to use add-on wide angle (WCON-07F) and telephoto (TCON-17F) lenses. A PT-030 underwater housing and 3 underwater modes allow you to take the camera on a diving trip.
