New Camera Bags and Colors from Lowepro
Not to be left out of all the new product annoucements, Lowepro has announced a new line of bags designed for resporters, a rolling computer/camera backpack, a non-rolling computer and camera backpack, and some new colors for their Rezo line of compact camera cases. Lowepro bags are known for their high quality and excellent design.
Stealth Reporter AW Digital Series
The Stealth Reporter AW line is a new line of bags designed specifically for reporters, photo journalists, etc. The water-resistant zipper allows easy, quick access to your photography equipment. Densely padded dividers let you configure the back for your equipment. The heavy-duty shoulder strap can be worn sling-style and a stabilizer distributes weight and holds the bag still when you're running with the bulls in Pamplona. A built-in weather cover extends over the bag in bad weather.
The Stealth Reporter D650 AW and D550 AW feature notebook compartments in addition to the camera storage. The rest of the line (D400 AW, D300 AW, D200 AW, and D100 AW) gives you plenty to choose from when looking for a bag for the equipment that you have.
The Stealth Reporter line ranges from $103-$193 and will be available this month.
Rolling CompuTrekker AW
The Rolling CompuTrekker AW bag accommodates a 12" laptop and a digital SLR with 4-5 lenses or flash units, and all the miscellaneous cables and memory cards that you need. To roll through the airport, the bag has inline skate wheels and handle system. To get it up on your back, just pull out the shoulder harness and waist strap.
The notebook is stored in a removable sleeve, and LowePro's NoDrop system keeps the notebook compartment off the ground when accessing the camera compartment. A built-in all weather cover gives a measure of protection when a storm pops up.
The Lowepro Rolling CompuTrekker AW will be available this month at an MSRP of $269.
The Lowepro CompuDaypack is aimed at photo enthusiasts and students who need to carry a camera and a notebook computer. The backpack is designed with a three compartment system. The rear compartment can accomodate a 17" notebook and other files. The lower compartment can handle a digital SLR with an attached lens and 2-3 additional lenses or flash units. The third compartment is good for "personal gear and digital accessories".
The notebook is protected in a padded sleeve and the NoDrop system keeps the notebook in place while the bag is open. The CompuDaypack will be available in Burnt Orange, Slate Gray, and Leaf Green starting in February for around $100.
New Colors for Rezo
Lowepro wanted to let us know that they're adding some new colors to their Rezo line of sleeve cases for point and shoot cameras. You'll now be able to find the cases in Burnt Orange, Slate Gray, Leaf Green, Red, and Black. The Rezo pouches provide excellent protection for cameras.
