    Since the 1970s and the days of Olympus's classic OM-1 35mm SLR, the company has tended to go in the opposite direction from several other manufacturers, building a lineup that emphasizes smaller and lighter. Fast-forward 30 years and the maker's latest offering, the Olympus E-420, continues to push the limits of just how small an SLR can and should be - especially with the simultaneous introduction of its ultra-thin 25mm kit lens. With all this emphasis on miniaturization, is Olympus still cranking out the nice images that made the OM-1 famous? We'll see...

    Nice review, it seems like a nice camera but not for me.

    Anyways I suppose you could buy one of those in lens stabilized Leica lenses for Olympus to get image stabilization with the camera.

    Yep. That is one of the benefits of the Four Thirds system.
