Fujifilm FinePix Z100fd Review Discussion

Fujifilm has always created a lot of buzz around their fashion-focused Z series ultracompacts, but the last few we've tested have worked better as fashion accessories than as cameras. With the latest Z model, the Fujifilm FinePix Z100fd, the company is taking a slightly different approach: while the focus is still heavily on style, the Z100fd is a more mature, more subtle camera marketed to a slightly more mature audience than the teenager-friendly Z10fd, for instance. Will the Z100fd also improve on previous FinePix Z cameras in terms of image quality and features?

Thanks for the review. The main competition for the Z100 at its price seems to be the Panasonic LZ8 and LZ10 which, so far, have received mixed reviews.

I think you're right. We have an LZ10 in the office that Jerry's working on right now, so hopefully we'll be able to draw some comparisons soon.
