Default Kodak.com presents photographers' views of the Olympics

Kodak is presenting several unique photographic perspectives on the ongoing 2008 Olympics in Beijing on a new section of its website devoted entirely to the games.

The site's "Kodak Olympic Picture of the Day" area serves up daily images that provides an interesting perspective on the day's athletic achievements.

On the site, visitors can also find a photo tour of Beijing, links to blog postings about the games, and information about Kodak's involvement with the Olympics. If you're looking for a unique, photocentric perspective on the happenings in Beijing, visit the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games mini-site at Kodak.com.

Nice photos. I'm sure the photographers aren't using Kodak point and shoots.

For some reason, I'm guessing not. Probably not shooting with Kodak's now-defunct DSLR lineup either...

On a related note, watching some of the swimming finals last night it was interesting to see just how dominant Canon L glass was among the press when they panned over the photographers' area. The big white lenses were at least three to one over anything else, in spite of how well Nikon's new pro bodies do in this kind of high-speed/indoor shooting environment.
