Adobe released a candidate version of its latest Camera Raw conversion package for Photoshop CS3 and CS4 a few months ago via Adobe Labs, and word came over the weekend that Camera Raw 4.6 has now been finalized.

The new version of the converter, which adds raw file support for popular new models (including the Canon EOS 50D and 5D Mark II, the Nikon D700 and D90, the Pentax K2000, and the Sony A900) is currently available for download from Adobe for both Macintosh or PC platforms.

A complete list of hardware supported in the latest release, as well as instructions installing the new version, are also available via Adobe's website.
