Is it smaller than a Nikon D40? Or is it just thinner, but the other dimensions are about the same?

It's slightly smaller all around than a D60. Think of it as about 2/3 scale compared to a D60 or E-420. The lens barrel diameter is also appreciably smaller than standard system lenses.

That's what I get for posting specifics on publication I guess. The text took a little longer than expected to brush up, so we shuffled things around. I'm wrapping things up right now, and the review should be posted Sunday or Monday at the latest.
