I've inadvertently downloaded many of the same .jpg images from several different sites. I am using Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder to find the duplicates and delete the lower resolution images. Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder displays two photo's at a time along with their file formats, dpi resolution and file size.

Frequently I find duplicate files that are the same format, but that have a significantly higher dpi with a smaller file size or, in the inverse, files with a lower dpi with a much larger file size (up to twice the file size for the same dpi).

I've tried viewing the two files but when I zoom in, I am unable to see much difference in the quality of the photo's.

Of the two photos displayed, I'd like to keep the better quality one but I'm not sure how to know which of the two is the best. If they are the same dpi, I'm thinking I should delete the larger file of the two. On the other hand, if they have the same dpi and yet the larger file has some better quality to it, I'd keep the larger file.

If the files have the same dpi, how can I decide which image I should keep--the one with the larger file size or the one with the smaller file size?

Hi, I have a Fuji S3400 that I am trying to manouver my way around, being a complete novice. I am having trouble taking clear pics of moving things even using the sports mode. Can someone please explain in simple terms how to get clear shots of moving animals and people? Thanks, Judy
