I have two old Canon lenses (that's what they're called, right?), one is 28-80, one is 75-300 f/4-5.6 III USM (just typing what the boxes say).

According to the pdf manual, the flashing icon called the "Camera Shake Warning" warns that "images are likely to be blurred by camera shake" Their solution is to mount the camera on a tripod or take other measures to keep it still. What measures it's referring to are not stated. The problem is that I get this flashing icon every time I push the shutter button half way. I get it in every mode except "IS" mode. Should I just ignore this icon or am I supposed to do something about it?

It is an older model but it worked fine until now. For some reason the timer is on and I have tried everything, even followed the directions but it will not change. Is there anyone that might be able to help me with this?
Thanks Debra

Today I shot some movie clips with my old Canon Powershot A630 but for the first time ever, downloaded them find they play thumbprint size.

I'm a very lazy photographer and never fiddle with the settings going for automatic.

But on looking at my camera I can only think the settings moved to 'compact' - does that make sense?

Is there anyway I can enlarge them - if not I'll be very disappointed.

Does 'compact' mean the definition is reduced and if they are enlarged they will lose clarity?

Yours in hope!

But I'm horrified to find it won't allow me to email photo attachments as the old one did.
Instead it sends some thumbprint photos on the body of the email with a note about SkyDrive whatever that is.
I'm a non-techie pensioner and I don't so most of my friend who I send the pictures to won't either or won't know how to access it etc.
Why do they always have to change things?
Does anybody know a way round this please - maybe I can download an older version of Zoombrowser which allows attachments.
I've downloaded a couple of mother picture programs but they seem to operate the same system - no attachments.
