    Default Nikon S9100 - Flash won't rise

    Hi guys,

I'm having a strange problem with my Nikon s9100. Although I push the small button on the side of the camera, the flash won't pop up. Sometime if i press the flash top and then push again the flash button, the flash will rise, but only randomly.

I took it to repair and they said they cleaned the mechanism but still not working - especially when cold outside (no joke).

Any ideas, suggestions? I would really hate to throw away a very good camera for some stupid spring that it's not working ...

    Thanks,

    Marius

The flash should pop up when you press the button so there's definitely something wrong with it. The only thing I can think of doing is to contact Nikon.

    Panasonic FZ28
    Canon Elph 110 HS
    Canon A720IS (retired)
