Default Setting rear-curtain sync on D300

I have a D300 and want to set the flash mode to rear-curtain sync. I cannot find out how to do that in the manula. Is it in the manual? How do I set the flash mode?

    Thanks,
    Andy

Actually, it is in the manual - try page 173, "Choose Flash Mode".

    Here's how:

Turn the camera on - the icon for the flash mode you have selected appears in the upper right corner of the control panel.

With the camera still on, depress the flash mode button (the one with the lightning bolt) while rotating the main command dial to switch icons to the flash mode you want.
