Default Casio Exlim EX-Z77 Screen Problems... :S

Hey members, I am an active member on the notebook review side of this site but I don't know much about cameras so I need your help...

I have a Casio Exlim EX-Z77 that I recently dropped about 2 ft onto a carpeted floor. It can still take pictures and when I upload them to my computer they turn out fine.
The problem is that the LCD screen is messed up...
The image shown when trying to take a picture or view an album has a "negative" effect. Also, the brightness is really low and there's a weird contrast...
Are there any fixes you know of to solve this? Or do I need to get a repair?

Any help is greatly appreciated... thanks for your time!

Your LCD screen should not have been so damaged by a 2 foot fall onto a carpet. Hopefully someone with knowledge of Casio cameras has had a similar experience and can give you some useful advice.

So I guess I should just give Casio a call and see what they can do as far as repairs huh?

I assume you've tried adjusting all your LCD settings and nothing's worked, right? If so, you might as well contact Casio and see what they recommend. The Z77 is a couple of years old now so it's probably out of warranty.

Yeah none of the settings changed anything... and you're right it's out of warranty. >.<' SO... we'll just have to get it fixed up (after a price estimate of course).

Thanks for your help everyone!
