Question Sony NEX-3/5 , crop factor on included lens?

I have read that if you use a lens on a aps-c sensor camera you have to add an 1.5/1.6x crop factor.

But does the lens that comes with the NEX-3/5 have true markings, eg my NEX-5 came with an 18-55mm lens or is it really an 27-82mm with an 1.5x crop

    Does anybody know?

    Thanks

    John.

Same as with any sub full frame DSLR. The effective FL is 27-82mm, in the old 35mm film terms. That figure is found after applying the 1.5 crop factor to the actual 18-55mm FL.
