Sony a230 picture problems

Hi all, so can anyone help? I have a SONY A230 DT18-55mm and when i take a picture of for example a square box with the box in the middle of the screen, once i have taken the picture it does not show the picture exactly as i have taken it, it shows the top right part of the box (yes i have checked the zoom settings) any ideas? I have tried taking pictures of many things like a house and the same thing happens it only shows the top right part.

The first thing I'd try is removing the lens and putting it back on. If you still have the problem it might have been caused by damage to the camera or lens as the result of a drop.
