Default Previewing pictures on PC question. DSC-WX150

Hey all. Just purchased this camera and had a question about viewing pictures on my PC when connected with the USB cable. On every Sony camera I've owned, when using windows explorer to view pictures, I would have a HD picture come up on the right side of the screen when clicking on a thumbnail on the left. However, with this camera the preview I get is very distorted and I can't really make them out. I've tried searching, and I've tried various settings on my computer without luck.

I'm using a Dell PC with Windows 7.

    Thanks!

    Tony

This is strange. Perhaps there's a software incompatibility. To try to isolate the problem try looking at your images on another computer or, if you don't have access to another computer, through Sony's PMB photo software that comes with the camera or through another viewer like Irfanview (IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide),

Does the same exact thing on my brand new HP laptop with Windows 7. What the heck?

I used the software that came with the camera, and it looks fine but I don't want to use that. I just like to browse the pictures using explorer, like I have with all my other Sony cameras.
