I have a Casio Exilim EX-FH20, and would like to purchase an AC power adapter. Casio's AD-C100 adapter which ranges in price from $48.50 to $69 at various outlets is the recommended adapter in Casio's User manual for the camera. I've been told that it works (which I don't doubt), but I do know that some individuals have reported that these some of these Casio adapters are not compatiable for U.S. A. use. Also, some sellers list the adapter at 9W - 7V output, but my camera has 9 V DC-In marked on the power in port. The specs in the manual lists power consumption for the camera as ~9W - 6V DC - rather confusing and conflicting values. I'm curious if one of the dig cam universal AC adapters with voltage range outputs from 3 to 7 V might work ok - my guess is that they would (and at a significantly lower price), but I hate to take a chance not knowing what the actual power requirements might be for this camera. Can anyone give me a definitive answer to this dilemma.
