After market lens

    I have a Pentax K5 amd I'm using the 18-55mm lens and my problem is this lens is very soft in the corners even at f.22.What other lens are good quality lens, Tamron etc.The center is very sharp it's just the corners are very soft.What to do???

    That is unusual. Normally kit lenses are pretty good corner to corner. The sharpest lenses are macro lenses. Which can be expensive. Look around the various sites that review lenses to see what alternatives are available for your Pentax.

    The Pentax DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL (it that's what you have) is considered to be a pretty decent lens, for the price. If you want a better all-purpose lens, consider the Pentax 21977 DA 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 ED AL - it's twice as expensive as the 18-55mm, but it gets really good reviews.
