I am new to the Forums and also picking out a digital camera so I did some looking around and one of the cameras I am considering is the Olympus Stylus 800. I mainly want this one for my dad who is a real outdoors type and basically a point and shoot person, But I am concerned about the 15fps movie ability, I think that may be too slow for quality video.
I was not sure if I needed to put all its data in but if anyone has any good or bad things to comment this would help me out.
    Thanks

Here's a link to our Olympus Stylus 800 reviews.

I like the Stylus line and actually just reviewed the Stylus 710. They feel sturdy, take good pictures, and have good LCDs. The 15 fps movie mode is a bit lame. Their newer model, the Olympus Stylus 810 does have a 30fps movie mode.

Since I like to spend my time fly fishing, I actually just purchased a Pentax Optio W10. Pentax has had several generations of waterproof cameras that I also like. The latest is the W10, and the previous one was the Optio WPi. You may also want to take a look at them.
