I recently purchased a Kodak Z712 and the camera works great with a Samsung CR-V3/3v battery but it's not supporting the Kodak rechargeable KLIC-8000 3.7v. It says the battery is fully charged and it's working fine for my Kodak Z1085. What am I missing? Is there an internal switch I need to push? Thank you.

The KLIC-8000 is definitely compatible with the Z712. Since the battery is working fine with your Z1085 the problem must be with your Z712. There's nothing in the Kodak User Guide that mentions some internal control that has to be changed to enable the camera to work with the KLIC-8000.

Sorry, I can't help you. You may have to be satisfied with the Samsung battery.
