best camera for close up images

    hi i have a beauty clinic and need to take photo's of peoples skin showing clear detail, can someone advise the best camera to buy it needs to be easy to use

    What's the budget?

    Any of the small Canon cameras do great close up or "macro" shots. Just make sure the area is well lit and don't use the flash.

    Good detail, or accurate color tones? Any brand can provide the detail. My view is that Canon, Nikon, and Olympus generally give the most pleasing skin tones. The best cameras will be professional ones, while the easy compacts will need you to provide precise control of the lighting for the subject. While far from flattering, flash will usually give more precise colors (white balance) than depending on the camera's auto white balance function.
