I am looking into purchasing my first camera. The main use will be recording videos inside and taking portraits. I am looking into the Samsung NX300 or Canon EOS 70D. I am new to cameras so not sure what the best buy would be.

    Thanks

These are two different types of cameras. The Samsung NX300 is a small, mirrorless camera with a large sensor. The Canon EOS 70D is a traditional DSLR and is much larger and heavier than the NX300. Image quality is very good for both but the Canon gives you many more features and allows much more control over your picture taking. The Canon also has a much wider selection of lenses.
