CONS OF CANON REBEL T2i

    Can anyone discuss about the cons that you felt while using the canon rebel t2i??
    i planning to buy this model.your advice will be useful..

    I love shooting video with my old Canon S5 IS super zoom. I was really interested in buying the T2i with a Tamron 18-270 lens.

    What kept me from buying it was that the T2i doesn't autofocus during video like a superzoom camera and also it suffers from the "jelly" rolling shutter effect like all DSLRs with CMOS sensors.

    But from what I've read, the image quality of the T2i is excellent. I'd still like to have one, but I really like having a jack of all trades camera.

    The T2i does indeed autofocus during video, but not continuously. You have to press halfway down on the shutter button when you want to refocus.
