I bought a coolpix S4000 which I really like but only had a smaller SD 1gig card so bought a larger one (Kingston 8gig) when I went to shoot HD video it said I only have 12m 33s, I put in a class 10 16 gig and it told me the same thing, 12m 33s .. I have formatted the cards in the camera, they show I can take more pictures depending on the card size but video time stays the same, am I missing something or is this camera just messed up?

Nikon says the S4000 can record 1.5 hours of HD movies but clips are limited to 29 minutes and/or 2 GB. 12 minutes seems too short a time period to cover 2gb of recording time.

I've emailed Nikon about it, both my 8 and 16 gig cards say 12m 33s =\ hopefully will get this resolved sooner than later, am hoping to do some video over the summer months.
