What software can i use to create DVD slideshows of my photos?

This means that I can burn the photos to a DVD and have them play on the TV in a slideshow fashion, perhaps even with background music and menus.

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks Ben. I will check that out.

I read that Nero can do this, but its some sort of plugin.
I'd love some free software with these capabililties but unsure if any exist.

I have used a few (none of them free unfortuntaley) and the 'best to date' for me is Pinnacle.

It is around $100.00 - what is important for me is (in no paticular order)

    1. Ability add to slides with text in between photos
    2. Use of MP3's
    3. Transitions
    4. Pan and Zoom
    5. Sync music at 'x' number of photos without having to edit the MP3 (in Pinnacle you just drag the end of the song to line up with your the last photo / title you want )
    6. Chapters with a Navigational DVD Menu
    7. Did not want to spend allot of time learning the tool (Pinnacle is pretty intiuative)

For the most part Pinnacle does this. I have used Nero and Sony for some quick DVD's - but for more complicated ones (I recenlty put together a 25 minute collage for my Mother-In-Laws 65th B-day ) I currently use Pinnacle ver 9.x (think 10 is current)

That along with a LightScribe DVD burner / color printer / blank Slim line DVD cases (print the jackets) make for a pretty slick 'home project'

I am sure there are free ones out there all depends on what you need it to do.

    Thanks daacon!
Pinnacle sounds like just what I need, $100 isn't too expensive.
I like being able to sync the music. I might give this a try.
