Just received my D600 back from Nikon. Great turn around time, new shutter, etc.

However, the camera does not take pictures except in A or S mode where the adj. wheels do nothing. Nor can the single point focus be changed, or the flash activated, or a picture taken in Auto mode and auto focus doesn't work at all. It all worked previously. I have two other high end Nikon
DSLR's that work perfect and 40 years of other high end Nikons that worked perfect.

D600 is Junk, service Junk. Time to switch brands.

You'll get pennies on the dollar for your used Nikon gear and glass, and pay full ticket for the Brand X you move to.

See if you fit this parameter, or in the alternative contact Nikon, explain your long association with the brand and ask if they'll do a "goodwill" swap for a D610.

Thanks for the link and I understand values for used gear.

As received from from Nikon the second repair has the D600 working again.
