Got dark shadows? I have put up some samples of editor techniques / tools for dealing with this -

I used the Windows program PhotoPlus X2 by the Serif company. Link to review -

Serif PhotoPlus X2 - At A Glance - Reviews by PC Magazine

Image editing features for this program are more extensive than Adobe's Elements, but not quite up to Photoshop. PhotoPlus X2 is no longer current, Serif has since replaced it with newer versions.

My Zenfolio photo host also provides flash slideshows for members of their service. These flash presentations are pretty slick.

Note that my post on PhotoPlus was from a year ago. I have since moved on to Adobe's Elements. PhotoPlus crashed a few times too many for my comfort. If you're already on Photoshop, may as well stick with that.

    Thank you :)

I recently picked up a Canon EOS 50D. Now have up a slide show with samples of the different Picture Styles built into the 50D. As these settings were made in the camera I suppose they are not technically "editing". But the same effects could certainly be achieved via editing -
