Hey everyone, I'm looking for a lens to go with an X-T1, mainly using for landscape, cityscape, night cityscape, and general travel photography. I do not need an M Mount for XF/XC lenses - correct?

I'm trying to decide between the XF23mmf1.4r vs. XF18-55mmf2.8-4.0; the latter is the stock lens. I rarely use zoom, aside from the one or two macro shots I take every month. Any experience with the XF23mm lens?

    All inputs appreciated. Thank you!

The XF 23mm F/1.4 is a small, lightweight, high quality, fast lens (good in low light) but it's quite expensive and it has limitations - no zoom, no wide angle view, not a marco lens. But if you're OK with these limitations and don't mind spending the money it's an excellent lens.
