Hello, I am hoping that there are a couple of people out there that have had the opportunity to deal with this camera. I personally think it's quite a smart-family friendly camera however I'm trying to find out whether it has an interchangable lens or not? I want the opportunity to take extra lenses out with me to capture a wider variety of shots.

    Thanks a lot in advance!!

No, the camera comes with one built-in lens, but it's very versatile. The lens range is from 24-1056mm (44x zoom) and it can focus as close as 1cm. The quality of the lens is OK but not great. Naturally a $500 lens used with a DSLR will take batter looking images but, considering that the S8400W is a point and shoot with manual controls and a long lens (even though it looks like a DSLR), the lens of the S8400W does a decent job.
