    Hi all,

I just bought my first DSLR camera. I decided on the Canon T4i with the 18-135mm STM lens. I have A LOT to learn for sure... and look forward to it.

I'll give thanks now for the many posts I'm going to make asking for some help ;).

You made a wise decision. I'm sure you'll be taking some terrific pix.
Here are some shots others have taken with your excellent Canon:

You got some awesome pics there for sure.

1st question, I try to zoom in and it says not possible in L+tracking AF mode. What's that?

PS - many more noob questions to come ;).

    I got it figured out.

The fever hit again... picked up a Canon 70-300mm IS USM lens for $424.00 at Best Buy. Was on sale for $508, but they price matched Walmart's online price.

Next lens will be a nice macro lens for close-up shots, but that will have to wait until next year :).

Also, I got my T4i kit for $1075, but Best Buy just lowered it again to $1038. So I went back and they gave me the $40 difference.

Oh, will a T4i recognize 64GB+ SD cards?
