Just bored. Wanted to see what would happen.
My excuse is better, I'm retired
Fair enough. I was off reading a good book by the time you got back here - I think by the time I got this thread up you had left for a while.
Guilty as charged. I do keep an eye on the forums on various other sites, so am not always here.
I'm new and can't find where to ask this as all the other treads are older and I need someone to help & don't want to wait forever LOL
I have a Samsung Digimax 300, it is at the least 5yrs old...I got a newpc so need to reinstall my camera well it won't work on Windows 7 and was wondering if any one here would have any suggestions, I don't have the funds to buy a new one as I really don't use it alot any way and lost job so that rules it out now.
If any one can help I'd appreciate it
You shouldn't have to "install the camera" per se. If you plug the camera into Windows 7 (via USB cable) or put the memory card into a card reader it should show up as a drive and you can then copy the pictures from that card.
For future reference you can always start a new thread and ask there - people like KCook and Andy above are good about answering those.
Thanks I will try that first
Also check the downloads at the support site for Samsung. They may have a Win7 utility for the old Digimax 300 that you can download for free.
Ha! You are here again!
